Introduction:

The word "Ex" is emotionally loaded, so say the least. However, I think when a man has really internalized TRP, he ends with with broken plates, but not Ex's.

Body:

Like most men, I have been through some pretty horrendous breakups. I don't want to get into a "who was the bluest of the blue pill" but let's just say my first wife defended me against the state of Florida concerning child support, because we all knew the kid wasn't mine. It was that bad.

After another terrible marriage, I hooked up with a college girl 20 years my junior. After a near branch swinging incident about 2.5 years in, we decided to stay together until she went to grad school, for a total of 4.5 years. We broke up by loading her stuff in the trailer, driving out to the university, moving her in, backpacking the coast, fucking one more time in a cottage overlooking the ocean, and I flew home alone.

Is it clear that my feelings for her are absolutely, utterly different than towards either of my true ex's?

While she's a unicorn, AWALT, my time with her definitely confirmed AWALT....also, the oneitis is subsiding, I know all that shit. This isn't a "there's one girl" post. I'm focused on lifting, martial arts, work, etc.....in short, myself. Plus, I'm avoiding women my age like the plague. Last summer I had BB written all over me. I've evolved quite a lot since then. I just don't want these things to distract from the main point.

Conclusion:

Blackdragon has a terrible acronym (his assessment) called LSNFTE or "long soft next for temporary exclusivity." This is basically when a plate goes exclusive with someone else. He claims most come back, months or years later.

Is this the experience of more seasoned Red Pilled guys? Is the line "ghost ex's" there mostly because the ex's we're talking about are the failed attempt at traditional long term relationships along with requisite baggage?

(btw I don't know if there is enough material/is well enough organized for the main board, but I think this topic advances male sexual strategies. Not all ex's are alike. Well, AWALT, but not all relationships are alike, so the breakup has different consequences)
