Hey folks, Long time lurker here, been following this sub reddit for a while. It seems like over the years there has been a shift from flashy pick up techniques towards encouraging people to build a life of integrity and work on genuine self development through hard work. I would like to ask those who have been following and applying the guidance of this community for a while, did anyone actually benefit from the ‘pick up’ methods of old? Such as peacocking, going sarging in nightclubs, pre-scripted lines, negging. Is there any truth to the books of those initial authors like Neil Strauss, Mystery, R La Ruina? I’d be interested to hear people’s experiences and thoughts
