This is a tough one, because assuming she saw the request...you got dissed. She didn't respond and there's a reason for it. This isn't as easy as it would be in person. If you want to get your foot in the door, you'll have to set it up properly. Wait for her to comment on mutual friends photos and comment beneath it. Don't acknowledge her. Make sure she sees some kind of social proof in these comments, like how the mutual friend responds to you for instance. Change your profile picture to something mysterious and interesting. Make your page private so that if she is curious, she has to friend you. Get in the mix with her group somehow. /r/seduction might be better for this type of thing. HOWEVER, you might just want to consider that your oneitis is going to sabotage the situation anyway and move on. You wouldn't even care if you were spinning enough plates and focusing on bettering yourself.

I made the mistake of emailing the oneitis of my life a while back, 4 years after the breakup, embarrassing to admit that I couldn't get her off my mind for 4 years and it actually drove me to depression. This was before I found TRP, I've been reading like a wizard since swallowing and identified all the BP shit I did, all the way up to the email. I'm ashamed to have been that person, but it's fuelling my drive for improvement and shifting my focus to the present and future versions of myself rather than my previous obsession with the past. I'd say keep reading, act on what you learn, and every new experience will chip a little of that oneitis away - don't give her the pleasure of your weakness, hide it until it's gone.
