I cold approached for the second time and it went better than my first (my previous post)

Any advice or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

She’s this chick in my university that’s a year older than me, brunette and blue eyes.

Here goes:

*class ended and I waited outside the door”

“Our Professor a little bit out of her mind”

“Haha yeah she is, she gets lost in her own head”

“Yeah she’s all over the place. Wait, what’s your name again?”

“Layla. What’s your name? I forgot too”

“I’m Josh... where are you going?”

“I work at a bakery in Fairfield”

“Cool, you got to get that money somehow”

“Yeah. What year are you?”

“I’m a sophomore”

“Uhhh Ok” (Lol)

  • Awkward silence and walking... Before we head separate directions I grabbed her arm and said*

“I have to head that way, before I go I’ll take down your number”

“Why?”

“So we can hang out”

“I don’t know I’m really busy....”

“Yeah, I’ll just take it down”

SHE seemed a bit weirded out that I was the same height as her, and a year younger than her in college..

Any advice or suggestions of how I should have gone about this is appreciated.
