Sorry for the long post, but piece of advice is needed.
Background: I am a 22 year old. Born in middle-class family with huge parent issues as my parents should have been divorced since day 1. This has affected me personality-wise because my father was more concerned to be the family's breadwinner rather than educating his children about the ways of life. Both of my parents were over-protective. I managed to excel in both my high school and undergraduate studies not through hard work but because I am relatively intelligent. I didn't have a lot of relationships in my life, but I managed to have a couple because I am good-looking and talkative whenever I feel comfortable. The last real relationship I had allowed to me realize things that led me to the red pill realm which I have been reading for a year. Recently moved to Canada. Pursuing my master's degree. Started lifting for the past 3 months.
Story: Being in the software engineering domain won't allow me to encounter with a lot of girl. So, after I settled in Canada for couple of months and achieved more fluidity in speaking the language, I decided to start approaching women. As I am not a big fan of clubs and bars, I decided to approach women in grocery shops, bus stops and coffee lines. The first girl I approached was on a bus station, and it went really well. We exchanged our numbers and decided to meet the day after for a coffee. The first meeting went great. The girl is super-interesting and hard-working af. She was the embodiment of "not just a cute face". Two weeks later, we decide to go out for the first date. Before we left the place, the date was going well. However, a couple of annoying things happened during the data. The first, she hit me off with the big news that she was leaving the city because she landed a job. The second, after some rounds of teasing and laughing, she asks me about my horoscope sign which turned horribly wrong. She started babbling shit about how our signs are incompatible and how the male Pisces is figuratively shit. These 2 incidents set me off, so while I was walking her to her place, I gave her a mere kiss on the cheek and this was just it. After that, I realized how dumb I am, I texted her 3 days after to set up another date. This date won't be set until a month later as both of us had busy schedules. The date went well, but when I tried to initiate a simple physical approach, she didn't reciprocate. That happened a week ago and I have decided not to text her afterwards. I realized that I screwed up at some point, but I don't know where exactly.
Disclaimer: I always have the feeling that when I should go the bars or clubs to approach women, I have to have a partner. Is this the right mentality?
Any help is appreciated !
