I met up with a gal I matched with on Tinder this past Saturday for coffee. Everything went well, and we followed up with lunch. Eye contact was good, conversation was easy, and we left with plans for this upcoming weekend. She was visibly anxious to the extent the skin under her eye was twitching at one point and fidgeting most of the time; though, she mentioned this was her nature well in advance, so she's self-aware of her tendency towards being overtly nervous when meeting someone new.

She followed up with me Saturday evening, and we had some brief messaging back and forth Sunday morning and Sunday evening. However, it's been radio silence since... To me this seems unnecessary since she had plenty of time prior to us meeting to message back and forth.

I'll be honest this seems to be a common situation I encounter. A lot of flakes. With this one it seemed things might evolve beyond that, but perhaps not.

I'm trying to figure out why women do this. I have no problem soft nexting this girl, and if at the last minute she enquires about our tentative plans this weekend let her know that I have made other plans in her absence. But I honestly don't get it.

I met with another girl who inherited a sum of money after her father passed away, relocated to restart her life, but hadn't been working for the past year choosing instead to live off of her inheritance. She admitted she had trouble meeting people, and only knew one other close friend in the area. She pulled the same radio silence thing, and her reasoning for doing so was "she was busy". I mean, that's the best excuse she could come up with?

So what gives? My SMV is higher than both, and neither of these girls is out with Chad, but it seems like they are intent on playing a game which results in wasting both their, and infinitely more important, my time...

Is there some screening I can apply, so that I'm not wasting time out with these women who are out to play games?
