I've been thinking about what direction I want to go in life. I've made improvements in my life already and seeing slight results - which served as an inherent affirmation apparently i.e. action = result (even if it equals a loss of resources) - but I've come to this crossroad: I don't know what I am nor do I know what direction I want to take.

I aim towards being high value, an entreprenuer, having self-knowledge and mastery and a group of people I can say with confidence are my friends. Until I started I didn't realize how vague these goals were. The direction this outlook of mine generated is too wide to intelligently make a decision that would lead (is this even the right word for this?) me down a path I want as well as causing occasional stagnation due to lack of a solid direction.

My question than would be: what tools can I use to educate myself about myself, the world I live in and anything in between?

Current list of things I'm doing to work towards gaining a better direction:

Just started studying current events (reading geopolitical sites suggested by people that are somewhat knowledgeable without it being their main line of inquiry).

Looking for books on general history of the world, history of politics and of money.

Having difficulty finding hobbies that I would enjoy and bring me into a social environment but still looking.

Frame goes without saying but I think is an important note to put in even if only just as a reminder for myself.

I'm working out and slowly fixing my diet.

Thanks for the help so far asktrp. You guys are awesome.
