I'm talking to this girl (she's a 9 in my book), it's been a little under a month that we started talking but it's been a headache from day 1. We've been bumping heads for awhile (shit tests on shit tests) through text and whenever I want to set up a meet up she ignores it or changes direction of conversation. I play it cool like I don't care but it was starting to get under my skin. I noticed I was being too alpha, to the point where I looked back at my texts and sounded like a sociopath lol. I decided to tone it down and just ignore her shit test and talk like a normal person. After taking for about 10 minutes thru text like a normal human being, she abruptly asked me out for Valentine's Day. I asked for details first, then I agreed to go out with her (framing the interaction as if She needs me and that's why she's asking for me).

After agreeing, I told her to wear something nice, she responded "I'm only gonna wear sandals and a sweater. Is that fine??"

I responded "only a sweater? It's cold out"

She responded "lol and pants.."

I responded "you can leave those at home"

She responded "lmao okay :)"

I'm glad with the outcome except for the fact that we haven't agreed to meet up before then. There's a lot of time in between and I don't like it. Would you guys have handled that any different? And also should I wait Til that day to meet up and not text frequently or should I push for a meet now?
