So I dated this hot girl for just 1 month. We had amazing, wild sex, we were really comfortable around each other, had lots of fun together and she told me really sweet stuff only a person in love would say. Besides, we slept together 3 times, which creates quite a strong bond. She had broken up from a 5-year LTR four months ago with a guy she was living with, and with whom she has 90% of her friends in common, and she was so sick of that fella that she even moved out to a different house.

However, all of a sudden, she became aloof and asked me for "time and space" via text. I accepted it without even replying to that. After a week of no contact at all, I sent her a casual text ("hey what's up? How is it going with your workouts?"). She didn't reply - instead, she changed her profile pic to a photo taken on a mirror with an ugly skinny, beardless, short guy who I suppose is her ex (well, bf again). Quite a childish, passive-aggressive and immature way to deal with the situation, isn't it?

So, as I imagined, I guess I was just her rebound lover. I don't know how to feel. Seeing how unattractive her bf is made me laugh and lifted my self-esteem, but it's such a pity this had to end because sex was mind-blowing and we had a connection. I suppose she feared she would lose all her friends as she has a huge common background with that guy, and she decided to go back to her beta provider.

After this, I bumped into her yesterday and she said "hello" to me, out loud and with a shy smile on her lips. She blushed. I said hello, didn't stop and kept walking without turning back.

I think best thing I can do is ignore her, forget about her and go hunting for other girls.

Have you ever been in a similar situation? Does it look like she might come back to me at some point?
