Hey brothers,

as the title says a girl I've met just left me on read out of nowhere. I'm not losing my head over this or whatever but I'm just curious what I did wrong in that situation since it's not the first time this has happened.

So I met this girl about 2 or 3 weeks ago at a bar and long story short we talked for a while and made out that night. She asked for my number and texted me the next day. It was a pretty long text asking if I got home well, saying the evening was nice and that she had a good time. We texted a bit back and forth (like 2-3 messages over the course of the day, nothing heavy) and I said we should get together sometime and she should let me know when she's free. She replied "yeah great idea! next few days I have a tight schedule but I'm sure we'll find a day that works for both of us". This was the first time I thought "yeah maybe she's not that much into me" bc she really didn't seemed that busy of a person when we met. But whatever, as I said I wasn't going crazy over this girl and just agreed.

A week later I thought I'll just text her and basically just texted "Hey x, what's up?" or something like that. Pretty lame but she seemed nice and eager to meet before so I didn't put much thought into it. It's been a week since I send that text and she hasn't replied yet and probably wont anymore lol. I can take the L but I'm really curious about what I did wrong, any idea? I mean she didn't just text me out of courtesy, and afterall she texted me first. If I was just some drunken hookup for her (as in she would have taken any guy that night) why would she even text me the next day?

I feel like it could either be one out of those reasons:

  1. She's genuinly busy (yeah probably not lol)
  2. She's involved with some other dude rn
  3. She kind of lost attraction for me in hindsight
  4. I did something wrong, acted needy or whatever

This isn't the first time I make out with a girl, we exchange numbers, she acts all sweet and like she wants me, but then just cuts off contact or isn't interested all of the sudden anymore. I feel like it could also be the fact that I can't make anything happen beyond making out (in those scenarios) which is kinda wimpy anyway.
