Read on TRP that if in doubt, it's still better to err on the side of jerk rather than nice guy, so in this spirit, I go for a second date (first one ended back at my place, but not much action) and come off as rather cocky and ultimately telling her after some drinks and fun in the city to go back to her place.

This prompts a "I don't recall inviting you" and me telling that we still go as if it were fact. Did this all with a grin, but saw she didn't like having it told so plainly, which led to me to taking her back but being told goodbye before the door while losing frame.

Her response "you're a little too confident in yourself, you don't really care for my opinion". Didn't have a good answer, but I'm definitely doing something wrong with asserting dominance, as she flaked once before already. Ideas?
