I'm in an LTR and we are chatting over facebook (something I do less and less nowadays). I was bantering a bit and she was responding well.

We send each other some songs to listen to. She has massive brown eyes (which I let her know I like OCCASIONALLY when she deserves a compliment) so I sent her a link to the song "Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison" asking "Anyone come to mind? ;) ". She didn't get it and asked me what I meant. I gave a sarcastic response saying it was about her best friend. She laughed and I told her I don't think she knew what I was hinting at, still in a bantering sort of way.

I asked her what she was laughing about and she told me she was embarrassed to say and I should tell her what I meant.

Me: "I will after you tell me what you laughed at."

Her: "No you go first."

I change the subject and after a while I bring it up again asking if she figured it out yet. She didn't and all of a sudden she goes cold. She doesn't joke anymore and is all serious.

Her: "Either you tell me what you meant or you don't talk about it anymore."

Me: "Will you tell me what you laughed at?"

Her: "No."

Me: "Then I see no point in telling you."

Her: "Then don't."

Me: "Fine."

After that I stopped texting and she did too.

Things that I think I should have done differently was not responding to her last message at all.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time she does this sort of thing (going from hot to cold in a matter of seconds) so I guess I fucked up before.

How do I deal with this sort of shit test? Should I call her out on her bitchy behavior or just ignore it? Any help would be much appreciated!
