You can never go wrong with outright ignoring. The trick is not to look butthurt. It’s simply choosing not to hear it. As if they didn’t say it at all.

Every response is viable as long as you genuinely look like you don’t give a fuck. You can ignore her, you can tell her to go flirt with him, you can tell her he’s out of her league. Ignoring is probably the best option if it actually is bothering you.

Just to say I haven’t had a lot of date experience but I’m reading up on the Agree & Amplify method. I would agree, then say “ I might have to take him out instead of you next time.” Let me know if this works for you.
