Recently, I left my previous job. I don't want to say for sure that I built a reputation with the people I used to work with for being promiscuous, but the last time I ever mentioned anything about "having something to do after work" (literally just that, I didn't leave any room for assumptions) two of them made a joke about me fucking someone (it was actually another co worker of ours). I'm very confident that they (at least) thought that I got around.

Well, a few months before I left something happened. One specific girl had a thing for me (I may or may not plate her. I've been weighing my options lately and wanted to hold off on contacting any of the potential plates from that circle). A few months back, this girl asks me something along the lines of "what was your longest relationship?" I'm gonna be honest with you guys. The last time I ever had any kind of relationship with a girl was in like the fucking fifth grade. So never was obviously the answer. Naturally, I knew better than to reveal that though. I played it off at first and simply said, "oh, that's not a big deal... lol" But they kept pushing. They asked another guy we worked with and he simply said, "I don't date..." Yeah, I know, epic cringe. I wasn't really sure what to say here, so I just went with it. I ended up agreeing, "Yeah, I don't really date either" while acting as if I were trying to hold back a smile. Luckily for me, someone took the bait and kinda stared me down half smiling going, "Yeah yeah, you just have sex with people, don't you?" Then I sort of agreed saying, "Haha! Do you know what monogamy means?" She says, "Yeah, I know what it means." So I tell her, "The opposite of that." Then she asks me, "Oh, so you just have sex with whoever?" I then told her basically and they were off my back about it for a while.

Was that bad? The more I learn the more I feel like I shouldn't reveal that I don't intend to be monogamous. Also, if anyone could expand on setting boundaries, that'd be great. Would it be best to tell them I don't want them sleeping with other people, or should I tell them I don't really care who they fuck (which I don't)?
