Hey guys,

There is this girl who works at my university gym and also works out there multiple days a week. Whenever I workout there I see her stealing glances and looking at me. There was one day when she was scanning my ID card and said "I like your hat" and I just replied "Thanks I like it too". I wasn't really sure if I should have used this to escalate. Do you think she was genuinely interested or just liked the hat? The other doubt I had was that if I made a move on her and got rejected I would have to see her every time I go to the gym. Since I am very serious about lifting and working out this would have more downside than upside if it affected my working out. Since I see her working out here a lot, I still have a chance to make a move (talk to her when she's there, work in, etc.). What do you guys think I should do?
