I'm 20 and have a steady serving position at a bar (have a bartending job lined up the day I turn 21 in a few months) and make about 2500-3000 a month. Rent in my area is around 1500-1600 for a 2 bedroom apartment, for reference.
Is it a rational idea to move out? I know the "smart" thing to do is save money while living at my parent's house as I go to school and work. I won't lie though, a big reason for me wanting to move out is to have better logistics when it comes to girls. The biggest hurdle I have with getting the lay is logistics and having just a car doesn't always cut it.
Any ideas or advice for people who have gone through this decision before?
EDIT:: I’m planning on splitting the cost of the 2 bedroom apartment
