I have been dating this girl for less than a week but we have gotten very close already despite the fact that she lives a couple hours away. We've been texting a lot and she said something that made me think I'm too available for her and that it is reducing her interest.

She said this: 'You're so sweet :) I miss you so much. But I'm not as sad as I thought I'd be. I guess I just feel close to you still in a way.'

I think she's rationalizing the feeling of getting too comfortable instead of being in an intense relationship (if that makes sense). Should I pull back some? I plan to respond less quickly to texts and try to make myself less available, but I'd like to know if I'm over-reacting to a single comment or if I'm on the right track and if so, what I should do?
