Generally it’s good to always hold frame because doing so makes it become natural over time.

That being said, you don’t want to treat everybody the same. Give attention and respect to those who deserve/earn it and deprive attention and respect from those who do not deserve it.

You’re the prize. People have to earn your rewards of attention and respect.

Keep in mind that holding frame should include some amount of flexibility. Holding a frame that alienates people is not much of a frame.
