Previous week in college a guy was asked a question which he failed to answer, after 3 - 4 other guys also attempting to answer but being incorrect I answered the question correctly. Good day in the office as usual I go home, lift, study, approach. Life is more in control after TRP.
Suddenly this guy starts being extremely disrespectful, okay. I apprehend things can get physical, situation still has not got to that stage, but if it does college will throw us both out. My problem is not with the fight, I can hold my own but it's with my degree. I have my family to support, I have worked hard to get here and want to see my hard work bear success. I don't want to let some idiot get in the way.
I would like to add that I apply TRP principles of having a mission, being a charismatic person, holding frame, the usual stuff. I am quite popular among my peers as well but I don't use it for poon for obvious reasons (I don't shit where I eat). I think my correct answer hurt his ego and now he is trying to out-AMOG me. I can reduce him to pieces using amused mastery but this will further hurt his ego, and a guy with a hurt ego can be dangerous. If he can't now he will be trying to find ways to exact revenge. I want the degree and finally bring financial stability to my life. I am currently avoiding any direct contact with him.
Suffice to say I'm still a work in progress but I have no experience and or idea on how to defuse this situation before it gets physical because he seems like a guy who would initiate a fight. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: He was being disrespectful to me in two situations, in both a girl was there.
Situation 1 : We were sitting in a circle I looked at him he asked me to look away but in a very rude tone. (even in my absolute worst beta days no woman ever talked to me in that tone) I was taken aback for a second to be honest but looked away nevertheless.
Situation 2 : Again he was sitting in front of the teacher and the teacher asked me and the girl to take two chairs and sit. I was just going to sit beside him when he told me not to at the same time using hand gestures one uses to shoo street dogs away. Result : the girl sits beside him, between him and me.
I think he was testing if I'm the real deal or not. I failed to hold frame. I have to admit he caught me by surprise. What I should have done was hold frame and command respect. The inner beta rears its ugly head again. I will hold frame next time. Thanks for the help.
Edit 2: Mistake in grammar changed meaning.
Edit 3: In both the situations I failed to hold frame and acted meekly avoiding confrontation. It's obvious the girl sees him as the AMOG now, I can tell by her body language. What I wanted to know if the situation is like how it's with girls who saw me as a beta once therefore beta forever (unless you are alpha for a long a time and she is the one to initiate contact cause you are her best option)? How much does it take before a girl goes ‘meh, he's beta let's see if there's a better guy.’
Edit 4 : Situations
