The sidebar needs a glossary. Too many people here are cargo cult, they see words used and they use them. We use the words because we know the definition. You use the words because you see other people use them. Don't do that it makes you look bad.

You don't even know what a 'soft next' is, why are you using the term?

( I know you don't know what a soft next is because you asked "She's trying to contact me what should I do." Soft nexts are set up with timelines, "I'm going to ignore this girl for X amount of days" and you stick to it. Then when you break it you break it like nothing occurred. You certainly don't go goober and start telling her why she's been put in time out. This is basic. Don't use terms you don't know the definition to.)

Do not tell her directly . Just say you’re busy and you don’t have time for her right now. If she has any intuition at all she will realize what she did and correct that behavior. Be ready for a whole lot of sloppy
