"let me know when your schedule clears up" (a lot of guys in here are going to say respond with "OK"... which is fine, but my first statement leaves the door open if she decides shes ready to go out in the future)

after you respond with either route, move on and stop initiating. if they reach out at all, saying hows it going or whatever, assume they want to see you and make another date (keep the texting short). if you get denied AGAIN and they dont offer a counter, they are simply not interested in you. after this, you move on for good. you are wasting your time at this point.

rule of 2. you offer 2 times. one decline, then one more, giving her the chance in case she really was just busy. she doesnt get 3 as your time is too precious and at that point you're too deep into chasing (a feminine trait).

if women are interested in you, they will jump hoops to open their 'busy' schedules for you.

First rule of Soft NEXTing. You can't Soft NEXT a girl you haven't banged, so what you're talking about is managing flakey behavior.

I had this situation very recently with a girl I number closed. I proposed some meet ups. She replied that she was tied up during those times. She then texted she was working until last Thursday. I didn't respond. I wasn't going to chase with another offer.

I just left it. That was 2 weeks ago. I'm still deciding whether to just respond with "I'm djing this weekend, come out..." Which 1) establishes value 2) leaves me in a casual position so I'm not asking her out i'm offering her a meet up.

Me: Hey, I'm gonna be at xyx Thursday evening, lets grab a drink. Her: "Hi i cant do Thursday because I have a course etc"

That's fine...but she blew you off without a counter-offer.

You don't soft-NEXT, you just drop it. If you see her out and about you can re-engage and re-game.
