TL;DR One of the biggest pieces of feedback I've had from my ex of 2 years is that we didn't really joke around together or have any inside jokes / laughs etc, and that she didn't feel she could be weird / goofy around me. From my perspective, having been trying to hold masculine frame the whole relationship, I can see where this feedback comes from, but I can't understand why that's what she wanted from me?

As far as I understand and have been led to believe, all that laughing and joking shit is feminine and wouldn't have attracted her anyway? Is this just a case of either her making excuses, or just not knowing what she wants? Do some women want this goofy kinda thing and I just got unlucky enough to find one of them?
