So I met this girl recently on a sport meetup. We chatted very little actually but she offered me a ride home at the end which I accepted. I got her number at the end, texted her after with "thanks for the ride again". Then she answered me with a pretty longish message of what she like to do (sport activities) and if I'm up for any of those to let her now.

A few days after I offered her to go out with me to celebrate St Pattys date to which she rejected because she supposedly drinks very rarely. Didn't sweat on that.

Fast forward to yesterday, she texts me in the afternoon that she had a tough day at work and if I'd like to get a drink.

We meet a few hours later. She starts with vodka and juice. It's fun, playful, we play darts, what not. However she was very resistant to physical escalations. I danced with her a bit, tried to get her close to me but there was always a bit of resistance on her upper back.

So fuck it, I ask for the check. The waitress gives me the bill, I look at it, tell my date that we split. Then she actually said she's gonna pay it all and she gave like 35% of a tip. We leave the bar, I grab her hand and say we go to my place, there's a bit of banter but we keep walking. Half way through she says she's going to catch a bus. We talk a bit and she gives me a quick kiss on a mouth.

A few our later she texts me that she really enjoyed the evening, thanked me and said she likes me.

Friend zoned? Next her or give it another shot? What would be the best response to that text? "Glad to hear that, have a great day!"?
