I have been working on myself allot lately but I feel like there is room for improvement in the way I go about doing it.

A while back someone on TRP mentioned the pareto principle. This got me thinking about prioritizing the stuff that matters. Feedback loops are another thing I found and think could be useful. For anyone who isn't familiar with these concepts I added a short description on the bottom.

These two things sound like really help full guides to streamlining your time en energy spent doing things. I am thinking about writing down everything I want to achieve and try and find patterns of goals that could stimulate each other and the 20% I need to focus on to get the 80% of my goals.

Do any of you guys have experience with doing this or do you think it can even be done or is more of a hindsight thing or a silly shortcut wannabe that doesn't work.

Would love your take on this and if you guys have any experience how did you implement it.

PARETO PRINCIPLE: The pareto principle it states that 20% of something correlates to 80% for example you wear 20% of your wardrobe 80% of the time. 20% of the world's population possesses 80% of the wealth. These figures aren't always exact but its a general rule of thumb that pops up in allot of areas.

FEEDBACK LOOPS: Feedback loops in short are. For example you start going to the gym. Doing this means you expend allot of energy during the workout and recovery afterwards by expending this energy you get tired and sleep better. Due to your better sleep you wake up with more energy which then means you have more energy and are likely to invest that energy by going to the gym. This is a positive feedback loop where doing something stimulates the behavior. You also have negative feedback loops which stop the behavior from occurring.
