My 24 year old sister who has struggled with her upbringing, is asking me to help her learn to drive a manual car which she doesn't have yet but wants to get because she has little money and has seen one cheap (I asked her why she doesn't just buy an automatic), with me driving 30km to her place to teach her.

She decided to live 40km away from the city and 30km from me, which is quite far out.

She has previously had my parents bail her out from various things like helping her move multiple times, letting her stay almost rent free in my mums house.

She's on a sickness benefit (depression), and wants to move out of the city to another place. Her car was failing and she had to sell it. She then got a big ticket and that cancelled out the money she got for her car. She has no job, only tries to sell her jewelry as she did a course. She has had work before but part time.

Recently my dad had to pick her up from somewhere and drive her 40km home, then back home himself. He wasn't too happy about that.

My parents have just bailed her out in the past, whether they are happy to or not. I don't really want to drive all that way as it's basically just bailing her out.

I would like to see her succeed at life but I don't see how I can help her. I have let her know if she's around where I am I'd be happy to give her a lesson. However she thinks that I don't live too far away from her and asks if I can come to her.

What would you do?
