I disagree, sort of, with the trp rules on texting.

They say just keep it to logistics.

It should be, imho, more like, after you set up a date, keep ALL communication to a bare minimum, to prevent you from fucking it up. She already has a good enough impression of you, so it can only go bad. She can't let you fuck any other way then in person, so be hard to find until then.

But here they focus on texting specifically. Your milage may vary.

I don't fully buy the 2/3rds rule either. That a man in general should speak less and do more is cool, I understand that.

If your white, it's sort of a given that the cultural and historical model for manly men is the strong silent type. Like Clint Eastwood. Or evolutionarily, caveman hunters require lots of silence and patience.

But on the other hand non white guys seem to get a lot of ass by endless sweet talking, flattery and bullshitting. And persistence and well, bugging girls, well beyond what a white guy would seem do and would see as tasteless and embarrassing. Jewish guys, black guys and Mexicans especially are like this. And they do well.

Personally I text/talk to a girl alot. After I fucked her. Maybe that doesn't look manly or "alpha" though. I can't help it. It's just not my style. I like to build a deep connection mentally. So I talk to them alot.

Treat texting like a table tennis game. Or just tennis. If you send the ball to the other player and they don’t return it back to you, game is over. You don’t beg them to hit the ball back. You don’t get another ball and throw it at them. If they don’t want to play, you don’t try to convince them. You just let them go.

That’s texting 101. If somebody (anybody and not just a girl you’re trying to flirt with) doesn’t respond in a timely manner and kills conversations, you withdraw. They are probably busy or/and they are just not that interested in you. Yes this sucks to hear but you need to accept the fact that you may and will be on the bottom of the list of priorities for some people.
