On a Saturday a friend told me to follow a girl on Instagram and talk to her, I did as she told me and then I started texting this girl. Things went well, exchanged probably 15~20 texts with her to build comfort and tried to setup a date, she agreed but said only next week. I said that I'd check my schedule on Monday and then talk to her. Here's the texting of the week:

MONDAY (Instagram Chat)
Me: Hello Captain Marvel, still in class?
She: Hii
She: How are you?
She: I just arrived home (emoji)
Me: You must be exausted
She: Oh I didn't have my last two classes
She: Haha exausted is my last name
Me: I got mu schedule, so I'm free on Thursday and you?
She: I have classes till 18PM
Me: So meet me in front of xxxxx at 20PM
She: Ok!!
She: Take my number xxxxxxxx

THURSDAY (Phone Chat)
Me: Hey C, it's L. Save my number. see you tonight [11AM]
She: Hi L, I'll not be able to go today
She: Sorry
Me: No problem
She: (facepalm emoji)

Now talking with our mutual friend I've found that she flaked because I didn't texted her for two days, she was expecting some chit chat through texting to "known" each other better. I tried to apply the "only logistics" principle because I'm not into text game yet.

What were my mistakes? I'd like to learn and improve. Also, do you think this interaction is salvageable or the bridge is burned?
