I realize that we betas have a way of putting our existential fears and problems onto others, and this is too much for others to bear given that they too have their own problems to deal with. Hence, why women and others distance themselves from us.

AskTRP and TheRedPill are like great bastions of support which can take the hit. Problem is transferring those issues onto another thing, person, community, etc, doesn't solve the problem, at least not immediately. Only in time does a solution emerge after enough angst has been let out so that it isn't projected onto others, at which point we begin to behave more human.

So for myself, I am finding it difficult to cultivate a real balance between relying on a source of support and engaging in free and independent thinking, which I believe is the end goal that these two communities encourage. Even now as I anticipate whether this community will find favor in this post, I can help but sense angst in how you will respond, if at all, despite knowing fairly well that in the grand scheme of things, I and all of you will be alright in the long run.

So as I reach out to you all in an effort to find support/guidance, unable to say affirmatively that I have achieved the goal of TRP, I wonder what you might have to say about these thoughts, etc. Whether responding or only reading, I thank you for contributing to the discussion as we attempt to help each other heal the void in each other's souls.
