Theory Clarification: What’s the difference between a women’s Hypergamy and her Solipsism and how do they interact with one another?

I have a pretty solid understanding of hypergamy but the topic of solipsism still somewhat eludes me despite what I’ve read on the sidebar and in The Rational Male. It almost seems that solipsism is just a more complicated way of explaining hypergamy. Or is a women’s solipsism something completely different and possibly the reason for her hypergamous nature? Please help me clarify.
