Driving.
Using too many emoticons or "haha", though it helps convey tone and mood. Use sparingly!
putting too much detail into your texts. Match their enthusiasm and effort. If you're chatting too much and the ratio of your texts to hers is higher, turn it down a lot and flip it the other way.
Responding so eagerly (context varies).

Depends on how well you know her. If you know her well in real life (irl) and don't have the confidence to ask her out irl, send her a text; further reading.

I do the 2/3 rule and it definitely works. Text less back to them and less often. Honestly I try and only use text to say hey let's hangout and do this.
