Lately I've little time, but I would like to write a piece for the main sub.

I want to talk about failure and success, instant gratification-delayed gratification, outcome independence, mindfulness, creativity vs consumerism, etc.

So far I have little material to write about, is there anything you guys would like me to talk about or discuss? Will add more later, thanks.

Getting rewarded for effort is quite the controversial opinion.

You must feel at least a little bit good about putting in the work. "At least you tried", failing becomes an option. Learning from mistakes requires an effort in the first place.

It is complicated because when effort is rewarded complacency and mediocrity thrives. Failure is the most educational experience.

Everything you do that requires effort must have a reward. Putting aside failure and success, think about things that require effort from the little to big.

For most people, getting out of bed requires effort, making your bed is postponed. These things will later become beneficial to you later during the day. When you've woken up early you rush less and can have a nice breakfast. When you've come back home from the gym you go straight from the shower into your ready made bed.
