Asking for a friend, srs
A friend of mine who is good looking, successful, and good with women, has been seeing a much older chick for a few months now. He’s 25 and she’s 38 with a 3 year old daughter.
They’ve been having a great time and he describes her as the best he’s ever had. He even gets along great with his daughter. Despite having the ability to hook up with a different girl every week, he says he can see himself spending the rest of his life with the girl.
But they had a fight, he claims that she treats him like he’s disposable and just a friends with benefits. He wanted her to open up more and she said “why would I open up to you if were going to break up in 6 months” he got very upset and left her house after that.
They made up, but something else happened. He was in bed with her and at 1 am some dude rang the doorbell. She answers it and tells the guy to leave. My friend obviously asked who it was. It turns out, it was some guy she used to hook up with months ago. They’ve been texting but nothing particularly flirty from her part.
He will text her to hook up, she’ll then tell him she only wants to be friends. But later she’ll text him asking him to hang out.
He’s asking me for advice but I don’t want to jump to conclusions and give my friend bad advice. What do you think?
Cliffs: Friend is dating older woman with daughter. He felt she was treating him as disposable. She texts former fuck buddy to hang out but makes it clear she only wants to be friends.
What do?
