Long story short: I acted like a beta bitch and got dumped for it. It’s a good thing in the long run because it means my frame wasn’t durable enough for an LTR, but I’m looking for some advice on how to deal with the cortisol release when I see her.

This girl is in my friend group, so I can’t cut her out completely. Definitely stopped texting/instagram/Snapchat, but whenever I see her I get a physical sensation that I’m guessing is cortisol. It feels like my insides are falling down, which probably doesn’t mean anything if you’ve never experienced it yourself. Any methods, mindful or otherwise that you would suggest? I can will myself not to contact her, but I can’t will myself out of feeling like a pathetic mess.

Full transparency: I’m seeing a therapist, rereading sidebar material (stopping is probably why I turned back into a bitch), working on hobbies (uke, writing/reading, cooking), and back to spinning plates (my heart’s not in it, but trying to power through). I’m even taking cold showers in the morning to up my T.

Looking for some guidance, Ya boi
