You're being coy by letting her decide. You're showing inexperience by not giving plausible deniability ("hang out" vs "netflix" vs "some-date-or-activity". Both are communicating to her that you are in fact not going to be a good, dominant fuck. That's why she's laughing at your suggestion.

She, like any girl, wants you to lead and wants to not feel like a slut (plausible deniability).

Instead, phrase it as a command and include some activity that's more specific than "hang out". Like "movie", "netflix", or "cupcakes" etc..

She won't let herself feel like she was easy man, and the limit each woman has for it varies. She didn't feel like that pinching your butt, but you talking to her like that was too much.

It's always cost benefit analysis, it's not so obvious. She gave you a somewhat playful answer there. It's up to you defining how much time and effort she's worth.
