Clearly this guy does not have any value in traditional societal terms. No money, not a CEO, not famous, no amazing top-tier male friends, no professional skills. He does not have the charisma of James Bond. He does not write poetry or paint. He does not organize amazing parties everyone wants to be part of.

Where is the value? What is his status?
