So here's the deal. I've been seeing a woman 10 years my senior for the better part of the year. Things have been going swell. She fucks well, cooks well, and looks good. She does plenty of things for me which I appreciate, and overall I've learned a lot about having a mature relationship from her. This woman is crazy about me, and a bonus is she has no kids. Now on to my dilemma.

I am a military man. As a single military man with not enough rank, I am forced to live in the barracks. Other people who have been in my situation understand that quality of life is mediocre. Our relationship is starting to gear towards the long term. We've been discussing marriage. For the most part I am against getting married, but being married in the military has tons of perks. I'd make significantly more money, can have my own place, and can have whatever I want in my own place( which includes a pet). I care about this woman and she cares about me. She gets paid more than I do, and would split rent and other living costs with me. She was even the one to suggest getting a prenup.

She isn't giving me an ultimatum or anything, and it was just something we have both discussed as being mutually beneficial and would increase our quality of life. All these factors have me considering marriage as a viable alternative. Am I being a moron?
