I'm a volunteer, so I help out whoever at the office needs my help. Two ladies, G & N, and I were talking. Well, N was asking me questions trying to find out things about me, and I didn't answer her questions, remained mysterious.

This whole time N & I are talking, G is spouting random shit, most likely craving my attention. There comes a time where N says something along the lines of needing my help. G seizes the moment and says "Yeah we boss you around, only us two, we are your bosses." I didn't respond, I only had one thing in my mind, and if I said it I would've came off as butthurt etc. So N & G joke about them being my boss while I'm quiet, I decided to leave.

Now my plan of action is to make them earn my help. I'll make them earn it by telling them if they can make me laugh, I'll help them. Now the negatives to this is if they actually bitch and moan to the boss that I'm not helping them, in my defense I'll just tell the boss "hey I just wanted to get a laugh from them. I wanted to find out if those two were funny, but I guess not".

criticize my plan please. What would you guys do in this situation?
