I've been seeing this girl for a few months. She is investing herself a lot into me, so this was a surprise: We got into a discussion about some girl texting hearts to a guy when she had a boyfriend etcetc, story doesn't matter.

I tell her it's fine and that hearts can be platonic between friends

"You don't send hearts to your friends if you have a boyfriend" and "If you are interested in a guy you don't send hearts to someone else" (remember this)

It's her view, whatever...

I joke around saying she sends lots of hearts to other people/friends since we're together, she's gets a little bit defensive and irritated even though I'm saying it playfully, and begins with a clusterfuck of contradictions. Initially she says the last time she hasn't sent hearts to a guy in over a year (I've only known her a few months, not sure why she thinks I even care), then she says she's might have sent it sarcastically and It's fine to send it sarcastically.

Still, I don't care at this point and think she has just tragically failed her own shit test. I'm having fun with it. What she said next is what confuses me: She said there's only one guy she sends hearts to, "he's really close" or something, they leave hearts after their messages. My frame remains, I'm just teasing her but she get's even more defensive, saying he's a "gay friend", oh he's gay?, "haha... defiantly not, I mean... I have no reason to think that... but It's like he's gay to me" They don't talk very often (I think, she might for all i know), she initially said she sends him this a year ago but then she referenced a recent message. She then starts saying "It's fine to send hearts if you are really close to the person"

Wtf is this behaviour. Did she just completely snitch on herself or was this just some sort of failed shit test? I'm fairly new to trp, so maybe someone with experience will know what this is straight away
