She's hooked and now wants you to jump through some hoops and validate her and tell her that she's a special snowflake to you.

I like everything but the last answer. It's a little bit too much of rubbing it under her nose. Contrary to what some here believe, minimal use of emoticons can also benefit you, if you don't overdo it. They were invented for a reason, since you cannot communicate intentions via text very good. If you'd have written it like: "that was last night, but she was annoying ;)", it would have made a big difference.

I'd just ignore the last words and pretend they'd never been exchanged.

Overall you could have also kept it a little more light-hearted. When she proposed that you might be a serialkiller, you could have also connected to last evening, pushed into a more intimate direction and answered with something like "As if a serial killer would have been such a good kisser as me.", or some other bullshit. Not my best line, but you get what I mean.

You do not always have to use agree and amplify and there are also disagree & amplify, agree & minimize, disagree & minimize. Just make sure that you over-exeggerate it to ridiculousness.

I think when she said "sorry?" You may have just confused her with your previous line. The only thing I can say it is try to give the vibe that wether or not she comes you really don't care.

The problem isn't your texting, although it's not great. The problem is these women aren't interested. You need to start with women that are attracted to you and ditch the ones who aren't attracted without wasting time on shitty dates.

While Agree and Amplify is an ok move I think a 9/11 terrorist reference is in pretty bad taste. You have no knowledge of her relation to this event and this is a hot button issue.

You should have with agree and amplify:

"Ya I am a cereal killer. That leprechaun had it coming though, now I have all his lucky charms."
