I tend to disrespect them right back. I do so constantly, continuously, and at work every single day. But make sure they deserve it, then let 'em have it, GO TO WAR.

It has a lot to do with what your long term goals are, imho. I tend to focus on my long term goal in whatever environment, and consider such irrritants as just part of the process of getting what I want.

This methodology requires you have a very strong sense of what your true value is, so if you don't have a sense of that you will need to develop it.

Also the repercussions of this methodolgy are No Joke. People (especailly at work) will do ANYTHING to get back at you, to recover their emotions. They will lie to you, lie about you, set you up in matters large and small. They will try to bring any type of damage upon you, the people you like, and the people you love. So this is not for the faint of heart.

I realize what I am describing is a hard road, and probably not the best road. In your personal life, imo you just have to cut them out. Too much to do and not enough time. People you are stuck with, I'd say go to battle every day and always work to elevate/improve your situation over days, months and years. If you can't win then eat the losses like candy but keep pushing and ALWAYS work to improve your situation on every level.

I would also take a hard look in the mirror and figure out why people think I'm someone they cs, or should fuvk with. Then I would set about fixing those things.
