Hope everyone is having a productive 1st week of 2020. Damn guys, I knew I needed to go monk mode to sort my self out after my messy breakup last September, but shit I didn't know it will be this hard.

Currently all am doing is eat as healthy as I can, workout 5 days a week- and doing really well improving my deadlifts with each session- and work THAT'S IT.

I want to talk to girls again but am still scarred as fuck from my last breakup. I tried using the advice I received in my previous posts and getting my hobbies back but for some reason all the things I used to enjoy in the past like playing the guitar, painting, and travelling suddenly became pale and don't bring me the same happiness they used to bring me.

So far my social life is still near zero, no real friends who live in the area, all my good friends are in the west coast, and I live in the east coast.

As someone here accurately told me that my last LTR was my "best friend" my "social circle" my "source of sex/female attention" and my fucking "hobby". And she was the shitties and craziest person, so that should tell u something about how miserable and desperate I was.

I am not a natural plate spinner, never was. Had a few chicks i had random sex with in the past but was always a relationship type guy - aka classic beta. And I know that my vetting skills are shit, and I always make girls who are plate material at best into LTRs, so now I want to find an LTR but I know it will take a lot of time to find someone who is LTR worthy, but in the meantime I crave that female presence in my life.

These things are holding me back and slowing down my healing process and preventing me from moving on as fast as I would have liked.

For the guys who successfully survived monk mode before, how did u guys do it? I know a lot of u have it easier in terms of hobbies, social circle etc
