Background: hella IOIs (more than once they've been physical like playing idly with my hand), casually revealed she has a bf after two weeks, responded very well to my explaining to her that she couldn't call me her bf yet. We share a class 4 days a week. Put her on the back burner because logistically it's impossible to isolate to escalate her as she lives in small dorms with her bf and sister who has made it obvious she doesn't approve of her sisters wandering eyes. Probably out of jealousy idk

Anyways we started chatting for the first time in a while today and the subject went to her relationship. I made a joke about how between her & her sister it seems like she has a mommy & daddy that won't let her play w/me. She played dumb to being attracted to me despite weeks worth of evidence to the contrary, idc why I realize that it's either all an attention-grab or she wants deniability. She said we had a connection and I was just like 'I don't want to explore anything while you have a bf'

She was just like 'mmm'. and since it's late AF I just said 'goodnight x' as it seemed like the perfect time to end the convo. then she's like 'are u mad?' "don't be mad y" and added way too many letters to the end of my name.

This is an attempt to bring me into her frame I'm 99.9% sure and my gut instinct is to just ignore that and smile & pretend like nothing happened tomorrow. To me the conversation ended when I said goodnight. But that's all I can quantify about my instinct at the moment.

I'm looking for critique (harsh or not) of my chosen response/thoughts on what she was tryna do here/relevant advice.

I'm 1/6th of the way through the sidebar material & have about 30 minutes - hour/day (except for one day on the weekend) to go through the material so directing me here would not be very helpful.
