Being proud of what you have done, what you do etc is really a compliment for me.

I would wear that badge with honor.

Having pride is a good thing. The opposite would be shame.

There's a difference between being bragadocious or trying to one-up someone. "My arms are bigger than you dude." Or "I'm so smart look at my degree."

Are you proud of your achievements? - Good.

Are we just talking about a concept of pride, which actually means being unable to deal with disrespectful behaviour? Jumping under the roof, because you feel like some idiot just damaged what you percieve to be your pride? And mybe you believe that you have to get into fights over it? - Bad.
