I have a friend, let's call him Marco. Marco and I used to go to the same high school together, we were really tight back then. Marco and I have competed in high school to get the same girl and the result always favors me since I am more good looking than he is. However Marco is richer than me, and from where I am from, money can let you get away with ANYTHING . Literally anything. Marco then left school and he has his group of friends outside school.

Fast forward to now me and my new group of friends likes to go clubbing since this is the "in" thing right now on my country. Marco and his buddies since they are rich frequents this club, so they a lot of people there. Last year, me and my friends were going to this club and Marco beat me and my friends up in the club, bribing the security here and there so the beatings could go on smoothly without anybody interupting. I am quite rich and well connected but not as powerful as Marco.

Ever since that incident, I feel tramautized and intimidated if I heard Marco's name or if I coincidentally meet Marco. I feel like my ego has been hurt and I lost my confidence because of this. I think that Marco is holding a grudge against me because he hates that I am more good looking than him.

What should I do to restore my confidence and ego as a man? It's not easy to just avoid him since I live in a small town, and we have a lot of mutual friends, so me meeting Marco is bound to happen.
