I was out at a club with friends. I met a HB7-8 and she was a foreigner who moved to the city. I think this was one of my best approaches. I was feeling confident, looked great, she was fun to talk to, and seemed interested. It was kinda hard to hear her because of the obnoxious music. So when she told me her name I couldn't really hear it and suggested she just put her number/name in my phone instead.

She said no because she didn't know me enough to do that. I talked a little bit more and joined my friends.

The whole interaction wasn't too long probably less than 5 minutes. It was all really natural and went well despite rejection. But maybe it was too short? Things were going really well so I guess it was no reason to cut the interaction that way I could build more rapport?
