This one girl I want to plate (former coworker - HB8) has a BF (Schrodinger's Boyfriend around me). She was supposed to come over on Friday and cook/eat but yesterday she texts me saying:

Her: Hey dont be mad but can we reschedule to Sunday? My BF is surprising me and we're going out Fri night and I'm just now finding out about it

Then an hour later later:

Her: Or we can reschedule to whatever day you're free. I'm sorry

Me: Should I be mad?

Her: No but I didn't want you to be disappointed

Me: "Those are two different things. Yeah let's go out. You can take me to the beach since it's going to be nice out Sunday!"

Her: "Ugh, chill on being so demanding"

Her: "We can go to that Italian restaurant and then go to the beach after since it's close. Just chill with the demanding tone"

Me: "Lol. Yeah let's do that"

Now it gets kinda interesting here. She doesn't text back but earlier that day I met this girl (HB7) at a conference who's from out of town and she wanted to go out for drinks. She knew a friend out here too (HB9) and invited her (I had no problems with that).

As I'm trying to park I see my former coworker's car nearby. I go in the bar and see her sitting there with two of her girlfriends. I walk up to say hi and make a few jokes to make all three of them laugh (all HB8+). She asks who I'm here with and I motion to the girl I met earlier.

Later the girl's friend come and the three of us sit together. We have a good time and later I smash the brains out of the girl from out of town.

I really think that's a nice coincidence. So me and the old coworker are supposed to hang out Sunday. I'll wait for her to text about the time confirmation since I forgot but I'll just do it Saturday if I don't hear anything. I don't think I was being demanding and if I lose a potential plate, whatever. Thought it was all kinda funny lol
