I tend to quite confrontational and tend to get into heated arguments cause of it but it helps get to the bottom of the problem, quickly. But the other party takes it's on quite offensively and usually is some societal pushback; people telling me that wasn't right etc.

To give an example I ended up pulling my dads business partner (my age) aside and said "bro you have to stop stealing shit from the house" as he was taking our chargers and shit. I wasnt mad but just wanted to let him know I mind. Then he went off and just started yelling and bitching (I believe he is really prideful). Then my parents began telling me how it was wrong and I shouldn't have done that. But in this situation I feel justified to say that to him and believe I even have the right to be angry with the situation and at him for taking shit and getting upset about it, rather than talk about it. This is how I usually am with my friends and we always sort shit out and are good to go afterwards.

This is more of a benile example and am curious if someone has a better way of confronting people for something big or small?
