I don't agree and amplify (usually) when it is my wife talking to me with any disrespect. I will nuke it with a 'hey, you do not talk to me in that tone.'

For everything else agree and amplify is the go to.

With a bitchfit that won't end you do often have to nuke it like that. HOWEVER, first try to hold her in your arms and LISTEN without making suggestions for 15-30 minutes. If Agree and Amplify is not working, try shutting up for a few minutes and actually listening. Don't respond, don't answer, don't suggest. Just hold her and STFU. If you give her some validation they will often STFU so try that.

Then nuke it SOFTLY with a 'we are done talking about this sweatheart.' If it starts up again redirect. Then redirect. Then nuke it again. If that doesn't shut her up then leave and go to your apartment and call another plate on your list.

My LTR was throwing a full on bitchfit in the car the other day. I kept my cool, maintained frame. Tried to calm her down. Didn't work.

So I pulled the car over at a gas station, got out, and attempted to call a cab. Without saying a word.

All of a sudden. "Where are you going? I'm sorry please come back, I'm sorry please please blah blah" the whole "walk away" thing worked like a fucking charm.

Funniest part is, 10 miles later, she tried instigating me again, so I started to pull the car over a SECOND time. This is when she totally chilled and genuinely apologized for everything and was super cool the rest of the night. Looking back on this shit makes me laugh. I wonder what it's like to be totally ruled by your emotions?

All chicks are different, but I think maintaining frame is the most important part. If you are docile, she won't be screaming for long. And walking away works man it really does.

I don't agree and amplify at all. The times I have it's happened because her brother was around to witness her "bitchfit" and he agreed and amplified and I went along. It does work.

I'll even admit that my wife uses a version of it with me. I have a short temper and aggression issues, so making light of it helps. Which is why I rarely use it. I don't have the patience.

When my wife starts some shit I respond/react in one of two ways. I either find that shit sexy as fuck and let her continue because I know I'm gonna have her eating her words in bed later. Or I become a brute asshole and shut that shit down.

Not really "RP" though because I'm allowing her to control my frame but fuck it. It's worked all this time.
