When do you decide a girl isn't providing shit tests but rather genuine disinterest?

This is going to differ slightly from guy to guy, but I think the bottomline comes down to the emergence of a pattern. If I start to see a pattern in which most or all of the data I've received from the girl in question falls into either one of the two categories, then I bail. Too many shit tests is fucking obnoxious (and a waste of time), and genuine disinterest means she's clearly a waste of time.

I personally have to see a pattern of rather unambiguous (or obvious) interest before continuing any further, and I personally tend to make this decision earlier rather than later (I can handle rejection, but not getting played because that's ultimately on my unwillingness to see the signs, and there always are signs)

When do you cross over from demonstrating interest to looking needy/desperate?

Once it becomes very apparent that you continue to invest without getting anything in return (and a text message out of the blue here, a response 5 hours later there are not examples of the sort of things I'm talking about)

Let's be honest here: you want to fuck her brains out, not have her psychologically destroy you while draining you financially in a very slow and painful manner filled with mind-games and dates that go nowhere.

How do you balance demonstrating you have abundant options while not pushing women too far away?

The risk of coming across as a total try-hard is enormous when you actually don't have options to be peacocking in her direction. Your best bet is to accept where you presently are, assume so strongly that you will in the near future that you trick your brain into believing you already do have options galore, and take it from there. I personally don't recommend combing your neighborhood or city for random girls to take pictures with in some desperate attempt to market your artificial pre-selection for the sake of landing girls.

The only good answer to this is for you to have a girl that actually likes you.

She'll be blowing up your phone with weird try hard attempts at getting your attention, all her plans miraculously disappear when you are available, usually some sexy pics get sent, etc.

Once you experience that then you can much more easily judge if a girl has interest.

Only way to experience that is to go and actually find more girls.
