Little background : I'm 18 y.o, I got into the red pill about a year ago because of an ex, but that's a whole story itself.

Anyway I'm currently struggeling with identifying real interest, fake interest and hidden real interest, if that makes sense.

For example, had a girl in school eyeing me for quite some time and last week I went to her and got her ig ( not her number because I don't have a phone.). I texted her the following day but the responses were slow and dry as fuck. I didn't do anything wrong other than waiting a long time to approach her, but she still had interest up until the moment I texted her. I didn't want her to think that I'm gonna be waiting around on her to finish with whatever guy she was playing with at the time, so I just left her on seen.

There was another girl that was all over me when we were walking together once, but when I asked her out she gave me excuses, I said goodbye and left. I texted her back after a couple weeks and it was the same answer so I said goodbye again.

And a lot of stuff like that happened to me, I didn't get anywhere most times. And sometimes they text me back asking how I'm doing, just empty and awkward questions. I usually feel like those messages are the girls seeking my attention so I ignore them, and other times I feel like they don't know how to approach and just get all awkward, so I try to continue the boring conversation.

Part of me says to completely forget about those girls but I have a feeling that if I do that to every girl who isn't forward isn't gonna get me anywhere. So, when should I completely forget about them, and when should I ignore for a couple weeks and then return ? And how do I tell the difference between genuine interest or validation seeking and girls who want to waste my time ?
